The main Highlands Library, located near the lobby, has grown as a result of generous donations of books, magazines, and newspapers.  The current library collection consists of over 6,000 books (including 400 books in large print), 50 magazines, 4 newspapers, 300 VHS tapes, 39 DVDs, and 44 audiotapes.  All books, VHS tapes, DVDs, and audiotapes are fully cataloged.  The library is run by 20 volunteers, who work for two hours once a week.  The library is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 
    Recently, a satellite library was set up on the second floor at The Highlands. The satellite library collection consists of fiction, non-fiction, videos, pamphlets, and magazines. The satellite library collection is changed every 6 months.
